Overview

Matchizo is a free Fusion Fuse for DaVinci Resolve that builds multi-image match cuts from a single node. In Connected Images mode it switches between up to 30 connected image inputs with configurable hold timing, start frame, and optional looping.

In Word Match Cut mode Matchizo generates styled newspaper frames where your focus word sits inline in the text with a solid or brush stroke highlight, and each cut changes paper tone, style, and layout while the focus word stays locked in place. Set the words before and after the focus word, control variations, fonts, colors, and backgrounds from a folder of your own images.

A final camera transform with zoom and pan works over every mode, output resolution controls keep cuts delivery-ready, and the Add Markers button drops timeline cut markers on the edit page so your match cuts line up with your edit.

Installation

  1. Download the .lua installer file.
  2. Drag it directly into the Fusion nodes area.
  3. Review the EULA printed in the console.
  4. Restart DaVinci Resolve.
