The plugin works good but there are still things that needs to be fixed.
Sometimes adding more points on the bspline/ ploygon messes things up. So its like you need to figure out where is the right spot for your next point if the bspline/ polygon to make it work right.

None of the less this tool is the best solution so far for fusion.

In addition. An improvement suggestion: allow the user to make the line travel instead of write on which currently draw the line on the path .

After all this i would still recommend this product.
How they will perfect it and it will definitely be 5 stars!

Taperizo is a lightweight Fusion tool for motion designers who need fast stylized lines, callouts, accents, trails, and animated strokes inside DaVinci Resolve.

Setup & help guide Install, find it in Resolve, the controls, common problems, uninstall

Taperizo Fuse: readable source with Custom Points, Path Offset and Line Caps. Older packages may expose fewer controls.

Install
  1. Extract the complete ZIP before installing. Keep its How to Install.txt beside the files.
  2. Resolve Studio / Fusion Studio: drag the supplied Lua Studio installer into the Fusion Nodes area, follow its prompts, then restart the application.
  3. Resolve Free: close Resolve and copy Taperizo.fuse to your user Fuses folder. Create that folder if needed.
  4. Windows user Fuses folder: %AppData%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Fuses
  5. macOS user Fuses folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Fuses/
  6. Restart Resolve. Use the instructions in your package if its installer or host version differs.
Where it appears in Resolve

On the Fusion page, press Shift+Space and search Taperizo. It generates a line on transparency: connect its output to a Merge foreground over your video, then connect the Merge to MediaOut.

Controls in plain words

Some controls appear only after choosing the relevant mode.

Path and shape
Enable
Turns line drawing on or off.
Shape Preset / Path
Choose a built-in shape or a custom path. In custom-path mode, draw or adjust points in the viewer.
Line Start / Line End
Position the two ends of the Line preset.
Center / Width / Height (shape)
Position and size the preset shape before the final transform.
Point Count / Point 1–4
In Custom Points mode, choose two to four points, then position each one. Points can be animated or linked to other controls.
Auto Curve Strength
Rounds the path through the custom points; lower values make the path straighter.
Render Subdivisions
Uses more small pieces to draw curves smoothly. Higher settings cost more rendering time.
Potato PC Preview
Uses a cheaper preview. Turn it off when checking final quality.
Stroke, taper and write-on
Thickness
Sets the main line width.
Min Visible Thickness
Keeps very thin parts from disappearing completely.
Softness
Softens the line edges.
Line Caps
Chooses rounded or sharp ends for the continuous stroke. With dashes enabled, use Sharp Dash Caps instead.
Start / End Thickness Scale
Controls the width of each tip relative to the main line. Above 1 makes that end wider.
Start / End Taper Length
Sets how much of the path is used to narrow or widen each end.
Taper Falloff
Changes the shape of the transition from the tips to the main width.
Beginning to End / End to Beginning
Reveals the stroke from either end. Animate these controls for a draw-on.
Path Offset
Moves the revealed stroke forward or backward along its path.
Normalize Taper to Write-On
Fits the taper to the currently visible section rather than the full path.
Enable Dashes / Sharp Dash Caps
Breaks the stroke into dashes; the second control makes each dash end sharp.
Dash Size / Dash Gap / Dash Offset
Sets each dash length, the empty space between dashes, and where the pattern starts. Animate Offset to move it.
Color
Opacity
Fades the entire stroke. Zero makes it invisible.
Red, Green, Blue / Alpha
Choose a solid color; Alpha controls its transparency.
Use Gradient
Blends between two colors along the path instead of using the solid color.
Start Red, Green, Blue / Start Alpha
Color and transparency at the beginning of the gradient.
End Red, Green, Blue / End Alpha
Color and transparency at the end of the gradient.
Gradient Offset
Slides the color transition along the stroke.
Transform, output and support
Center / Pivot (transform)
Moves the finished line and sets the point it scales or rotates around.
Size / Angle
Scales and rotates the finished line.
Auto Resolution / Width / Height (output)
Uses the composition size, or lets you enter an output size in pixels.
Debug to Console
Prints diagnostic information to the Console for troubleshooting.
Clipizo on YouTube / YouTube
Opens the Clipizo channel in your browser. It does not change the image.
Common problems
Not in the tool search
Extract the ZIP, check that the file still ends in .fuse, and restart Resolve after copying it. Use the user Fuses location for a manual install. Avoid installing a second copy of the same tool.
An older interface still appears
Resolve caches Fuse code. Fully restart it, then try a newly added node; an existing node may retain saved values.
Nothing is visible
Check Enable, Thickness, Opacity, Alpha and the two write-on values. View the Taperizo output directly, then check its Merge connection.
Jagged or slow preview
Increase Render Subdivisions for smoother curves, or lower it / enable Potato PC Preview while editing.
Uninstall
  1. Close Resolve / Fusion. Move only Taperizo.fuse out of the Fuses folder where you installed it, to a backup folder outside the Fusion search folders.
  2. If you used the Studio installer, check the destination it reported (which can be the shared Clipizo/Fuses folder). Leave other Clipizo files in place.
  3. Restart the application. Existing projects using this tool will need it reinstalled to render the same result.

v1.2 Taperizo v1.2 Latest release

Taperizo v1.2 adds Line Caps for the main stroke and fixes the Circle preset rendering.

What's New in 1.2

  • New Line Caps control on the Stroke page with Round and Sharp options. Previously sharp caps were only available in dashed mode. Now users can give the main stroke sharp or flat beginnings and ends instead of rounded ones. The control auto hides when dashes are enabled, where the existing Sharp Dash Caps still applies per dash.
  • Fixed Circle preset rendering as a stretched horizontal oval. The Circle shape preset now renders as a true round circle, perfectly centered in the frame, at a reasonable default size.
v1.1 Taperizo v1.1 Previous release

Taperizo (formerly Tapered Lines Fuse) v1.1 adds a Custom Points shape mode, a Path Offset slider, and unlocked taper thickness for more creative control.

What's New in 1.1

  • Renamed Tapered Lines Fuse to Taperizo for a cleaner, consistent product identity across Clipizo.
  • Custom Points mode — A new shape preset that exposes individual point positions (2-4 points) with on-screen crosshair controls, each fully animatable. Point count defaults to 2 and can be increased up to 4.
  • Path Offset control — A new slider (-1 to 1) in the Write-On section that lets the drawn tapered line travel forward or backward along the path. Animate it to slide the line across the path in either direction.
  • Unlocked taper thickness — Start and End Thickness Scale controls can now go well beyond the main line thickness (up to 20x), allowing huge tapered ends at the beginning or end of the line.
